Metropolis hosts Latin jazz and salsa group Projecto 7 in concert

The Elgin-based Salsa-Latin Jazz band make their Metropolis debut with Projecto 7 in concert on December 15, 2021.

Projecto 7 is an Elgin-based salsa-latino jazz group. The group specializes in dance rhythms from Puerto Rico, Cuba and Santo Domingo, and some rhythms from Central and South America, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bolero, Mambo, Rumbas and Latin Jazz, with standard American rhythms. -jazz in “Salsa” modes.

COVID Protocols: All customers will be required to show proof of vaccination (along with photo ID) in order to enter the theater, or show proof of a negative covid test as well as wear a mask when in theater. For more information on covid protocols, visit the Metropolis website.

Projecto 7 en Concert will take place on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $ 25 and can be purchased online at MetropolisArts.com, by phone at 847.577.2121, or by email at customerservice@metropolisarts.com.

The Metropolis ticket office is currently open Monday to Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. On performance days, the ticket office will be open from noon until the performance interval.

Projecto 7 in Concert is part of the Metropolis concert series. Metropolis is located in the heart of Chicago’s northwest suburbs, in downtown Arlington Heights, at the intersection of Campbell and Vail Avenue (111 West Campbell Street). Street parking is available. Free parking is available in the public garage behind the theater.
