Enjoy a little “Mondaynite” on Saturday afternoon, with a free concert with Mondaynite Jazz Orchestra (MoJO) at 3pm on Saturday September 11th in the Camden Amphitheater on Atlantic Avenue in Camden.
The local favorite will perform traditional big band, Latin, funk and blues instrumentals. They will also include some voice numbers and some patriotic tunes, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for comfortable sitting.
MoJO’s mission is to be the premier community jazz orchestra in the Midcoast region. MoJO makes a number of professional engagements each year, including performance for non-profit organizations. In addition, they strive to provide music students with educational and experiential opportunities to improve their skills. Members agree to rehearse every Monday evening.
