Led by General and Artistic Director Adonis Rose, this 20-piece big band boasts an ever-growing repertoire that exemplifies jazz’s influence as the grandfather of all modern American music. Adonis Rose and NOJO have made headlines for major performing arts venues around the world, positioning themselves as the ambassadors of New Orleans big band jazz. Their home base is the New Orleans Jazz Market, New Orleans’ only stand-alone facility designed specifically for jazz, where they produce and perform a season of dynamic performances often featuring talented local musicians and internationally acclaimed special guests. .

“The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra has been serving our community and exporting our music and culture around the world for twenty years,” says Adonis Rose, Creative Director of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. “We are delighted to celebrate this monumental anniversary with our fans, musical collaborators and patrons of the Jazz Market.
