Verdi Club: Silver Bell Jazz Band at the Lumberjack Ball

SILVER BELL JAZZ GROUP:
The Silver Bell Jazz Band represents authentic jazz with a beautiful blend of jazz roots that moves the soul and gets you dancing! With clarinetist and international Lindy Hop instructor Ryan Calloway leading the group, they play with special attention to the dancers. Ryan arranges and brings together musicians from across the Bay Area, and with a rotating cast of all-star jazz musicians, you’re sure to get a new and mind-blowing experience every time, just like in the first jazz sessions. .
WOODEN BALL:
Woodchopper’s Ball, San Francisco’s swing hotspot, is a weekly Tuesday night swing dance event held at the historic Verdi Club in San Francisco’s Mission district. Named after the Woody Herman Orchestra’s classic 1939 swing tune (and their biggest hit!), it offers monthly classes, a full bar (21+ only) and a dance party with a free lesson. appointments and the widest variety of live concerts. swing dance music in town! * 2,500 SQUARE PIECE DANCE FLOOR: Large and beautiful hardwood dance floor with plenty of room to swing!
* OCTOBER (4 weeks) The monthly series of LINDY HOP and BALBOA lessons end tonight, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. One-time monthly walk-in class: $25/person/week (includes dance party!), no partner required.
