Preservation Hall Jazz Band confirms first-ever live broadcast from its namesake venue, welcoming Durand Jones and Ivan Neville

Preservation Hall Jazz Band is teaming up with The Relix Channel on Twitch to broadcast their special “Round Midnight Preserves”, live on April 30 and May 1.

The shows are sure to be lively, as the Pres Hall Jazz Band hosts Durand Jones on the first night and Ivan Neville on the second night.

These shows mark the group’s very first livestreams from their namesake venue – Preservation Hall – and will take place in what would have been the first weekend of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

According to the Preservation Hall Foundation, “Donations made during both streams will support our efforts to protect, preserve and perpetuate the music of New Orleans, foster music education opportunities for educators and students, and continue to provide emergency financial assistance to Preservation Hall musicians. “

Tune in to ‘Round Midnight Preserves on April 30 and May 1 from 10 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CT via Twitch.tv/TheRelixChannel.
